As a result of the changes under CERES4.51.01 – Grocery Rescue Order Management the “Enhanced Grocery Rescue Excel Import” procedure document has been created.  See the Agencies and Receivables and Donors and Donations sections of the Ceres Procedure Documents. The “Enhanced Grocery Rescue Excel Import Template” is also available in the noted sections.

As a result of the changes for CERES4.51.13 – Inventory Pick Enhancements for ADCS and Paper Based Processing, the “Warehouse ADCS Barcode Processing” procedure document has been updated.  See the Inventory and Warehouse section of the Ceres Procedure Documents section for the updated version.

Ceres update CERES4.51.13 Inventory Pick Enhancements for ADCS and Paper Based Processing, that provides a Ceres enhancement, was released on 02/26/18.

The next version of Ceres (version 5.0) has successfully passed the CfMD solutions testing phase.  Passing the solutions test is the most involved and time consuming step in the CfMD (Certified for Microsoft Dynamics) process.   Once the Customer Evidences are obtained the CfMD process for Ceres 5.0 will be completed.

Work on the next version of Ceres; Ceres 5.0, based upon Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2018 is in the planning stages.  Development will commence as soon as Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2018 is officially released.   The expected release date of Ceres 5.0 is July 1, 2018.

The Certified for Microsoft Dynamics process ensures that solutions:

• Are developed by a certified and reputable Independent Software Vendor
• Are designed for a unique business and industry need
• Have been tested for seamless integration with Microsoft Dynamics
• Is properly supported and protected
• Meets  industry-specific requirements and local language, tax, and governmental regulations

eSoftware is in the final stages of submitting the next version of Ceres for CfMD testing.
